TRANSBAY BLOCK 2 - FAMILY BUILDING

The project is located at the corner of Folsom and Main streets in San Francisco.

The project includes a 17-story high-rise residential project includes 100 units of affordable rental housings for families with additional amenities including service spaces, childcare, ground floor retail, roof deck and pedestrian mews between buildings.

The project will pursue GreenPoint rating certification.

The project delivery method is design-build where  where the MEP Basis of Design documents were delivered at 100% Schematic Design for the procurement of MEP-FP design-build subcontractors.

MEYERS+ is providing mechanical and electrical services for the project.

 ENGINEERING FEATURES

The HVAC systems are unitary, eliminating the need for costly piping systems, and alleviating the environmental concerns that come with distributed refrigerant piping systems. Centrally-distributed ventilation air allows for enhanced, MERV-13, filtration without the need to change filters in each residential unit.
