TIPALTI HQ

The Project is Tipalti’s Global Headquarters, located at 1051 E. Hillsdale Boulevard in Foster City, CA. Tipalti is a technology company with a mission to automate the payables process on a global scale and provide clients with an intelligent, holistic approach to eliminate global friction.

The project includes 63,165 RSF as a warm shell located on the sixth and partial seventh floor. The 6th floor included a 36,928 SF build-out for an elevator lobby, reception area, break room, and rooms for client presentations, project work, team huddles, and interviewing. The space also includes small/med/large conference rooms and a library/quiet room. The 7th floor’s 15,780 SF includes more meeting rooms, an additional quiet room, a video production suite, a kitchen/lounge, and a pantry.

The project delivery method used was design-bid-build. MEYERS+ is the engineer of record for the project.

MEYERS+ provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing & fire protection, technology and commissioning services.

ENGINEERING FEATURES

The mechanical system is variable air volume (VAV) with reheat, which is designed to maximize energy savings through airflow reduction strategies using CO2 monitoring and integration with the lighting occupancy sensors. The office contains many VAV control zones to enhance thermal comfort and reduce over-heating or over-cooling. The lighting design contains highly efficient LED fixtures and a modern control system complete with occupancy and daylight monitoring for light use reduction. The water heating systems are all-electric.
