SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL FOOD COURTS

The project is located at the International Terminal Building at San Francisco International Airport. The project includes the renovation of the existing north and south food courts.

The new food courts reflect the culinary lifestyle of the Bay Area and were guided by SFO’s principles of Revenue Enhancement and Customer Hospitality (REACH).

The project delivery method was design-bid-build. MEYERS+ is the
engineer-of-record.

M+ provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing & fire protection services.

ENGINEERING FEATURES

New LED lighting with dimmer controls enhanced the passenger experience, optimized control and reduced energy.

Existing circuits were repurposed to support the new lighting control system, eliminating disruption in the active terminal outside of the barricade construction zone.

Several hundred recessed compact fluorescent sparkle lights were re-fitted with LED modules to improve performance and reduce energy.
