Plumbing & Fire Protection Designer
Being born and raised in San Francisco, I had the fortunate experience of being surrounded by music and art. My dream was to become a musician, and I wanted to pursue that as a career. I played the saxophone for ten years at an arts high school, but during my time there, I joined a robotics team. That experience ignited my curiosity for engineering, and I decided to make the switch.
Growing up, I was always a crafty person and loved to DIY everything I could, even if buying it would have been easier. Engineering fascinated me because it allowed me to apply that mindset in a more technical way. I had always wanted to live on the East Coast, so I attended Stevens Institute of Technology, where I pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Moving across the country by myself at 18 taught many things, but most importantly, it showed me how resilient I could be. That experience strengthened my passion for engineering and helped me push through challenges, no matter how difficult they were. This led me to my opportunity to intern at Meyers+ and now I'm excited to continue learning and growing here.Did you know?
I love solo traveling and exploring the world. I plan at least two camping trips a year and make an effort to travel to a different city or country once a year. I also like to capture moments by crafting something while I travel. When I went to Copenhagen last winter, I knit a pair of socks to keep cozy!
