Growing up, I thought I would someday become an architect. As a kid, I enjoyed drawing, had an interest in cities and structures, and envisioned myself one day creating blueprints for houses and buildings. I visited an architecture program while on a college tour, and after seeing the studios and learning more about the curriculum, I realized that perhaps that path was not entirely for me. During my junior and senior years of high school, my interests began to pivot more towards math, science, and a curiosity for how things work, and I ultimately decided to enroll as a Mechanical Engineering major at Binghamton University (Go Bearcats!)

Since graduating, I’ve found the MEP industry to be a good crossover between the applied math and science principles from engineering school and my long-standing interest in the built environment (while still getting to create blueprints for buildings). I’ve found it very fulfilling seeing projects come to life, solving problems, and constantly learning new things along the way. I’m excited to continue my journey as an engineer at MEYERS+!

Did you know?

Outside of work, I enjoy strength training and playing soccer. I also recently took up running as a hobby. I ran my first half marathon in April 2025 and I’m looking forward to running many more races!
