FOUR SEASONS PRIVATE RESIDENCES AND MEXICAN MUSEUM

Located at 3rd and Mission Streets in San Francisco, the Four Seasons Private Residences and Mexican Museum is the final piece of the Yerba Buena Area Plan,

The project included a new 43-story luxury condominium tower and the rehabilitation and integration of the historic Aronson Building, built in 1903 and notable for surviving the 1906 earthquake. Amenities included a lounge, outdoor terrace, bar, dining room, game room, The lower levels of the Aronson Building will be home to the new Mexican Museum.

The project received LEED Silver Certification.

The project delivery method was design-build. MEYERS+ provided the permit & construction documents and construction administration services as the Electrical Engineer of Record of the project under the electrical contractor.

ENGINEERING FEATURES

The 45-story tower is served from PG&Eā€™s reliable downtown network grid with separate 277/480 volt feeders serving the Mexican Museum and the house loads.  Subtractive metering is utilized to provide 120/208 volts to the 134 luxury condos with multi-meter stacks serving every 2 or 3 floors. A 1500 kW standby diesel generator provides emergency power to the life safety and critical electrical systems throughout the building.
