1687 MARKET - ARTIST HUB ON MARKET

Artists Hub on Market and Mercy Housing of California are collaborating to redevelop the site at 1687 Market St.

Artist Hub is the proposed mixed-use building, designed to include 102 units on top of three floors of community art space. The two bottom floors will include two lobbies, a café, a 85-seat theater, flexible art space, pre-event lounges, office space and rehearsal spaces. The building will offer 100% affordable housing, with studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units tailored for artists, individuals in arts administration and their families whose household income falls at or below 80% of the San Francisco Area Median Income.

The  MEP Basis of Design is delivered at 100% Schematic Design for procurement of mechanical and electrical design-build subcontractors. M+ will provide peer review services for the remaining design and construction administration phases.

MEYERS+ is providing MEP design criteria for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services and energy modeling.
