Jake Fitzhugh, PE
As the son of a second generation iron worker, I grew up all around construction. As a kid I was fanatical about building anything: LEGOs, tree forts, my dad’s Jeep, anything. These influences steered me toward a career in mechanical engineering and eventually HVAC. I enjoy playing a part in making sure attractive, functional spaces can also be efficient and agreeable for the people who need them. The coordination that goes into the built environment is one of my favorite challenges. Because I am a native Northern Californian, I especially like to work toward pushing the envelope on energy and water efficiency. I love that my job puts me in a position to work with people on these things on a daily basis.

I’m an avid outdoorsman, terrible fisherman, and abalone diver. Any excuse to be outside is my new favorite hobby.
